This Morning, the group decided to switch things up and go to the Primary School for the day. Primary School consists of the younger kids, and serves as sort of an elementary and middle school. The first thing we did with the kids was just an hour of games. Kei and I decided to run a game of Monkey in the Middle with some of the older kids.

After about an hour of play, we all migrated back to the school for a reading session. Each Groton student was assigned a group of kids to read a few picture books to. I was responsible for reading to a few of the older girls in the school. I began reading the book myself, and by the second page of the first book they all began to read with me. After about thirty minutes of reading and laughing, story time was over. The next event on the schedule was a soccer game.

Kei, Amani, Marie, Diva, and I all participated in the game. Teams were divided into the boys versus the girls. After about twenty minutes of play, the game ended in 1-1 tie. Visiting and playing with all of the kids in the primary school today was a great experience, and I cannot wait to do it again.
